P&L E-Communications, LLC demonstrates AVT234© at NYSEG open house in Horseheads

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) July 10, 2008 -- PLE Government Systems announced today that it had been asked to demonstrate its AVT234© perimeter surveillance product to provide constant monitoring for intrusions in gas and electric distribution facility perimeters with low false alarms and using WiFi network equipment. In order to demonstrate this ability to detect intrusions and integrate via wireless communications PLE had to design, develop, test and integrate a test-bed site in cooperation with NYSEG and BIG wireless personnel.

The demonstration was done for various RG&E and NYSEG security personnel and the results were good. Using patented Target Motion Cueing (TMC) technology, AVT234© is the industry’s leading automated object discovery and change detection in surveillance solution, providing unattended video analytics to be used to protect critical infrastructure sites including ports, airports, chemical plants, and utility company distribution sites.

PLE will work with RG&E and NYSEG (Energy East) to evaluate suitability of using AVT234© to provide unattended, persistent analytics for existing large scale surveillance system being developed by Security Director at RG&E. PLE personnel are integrating video into AVT234© and relaying alerts to central center via communications layers at test bed sites.
