Rochester, NY (PRWEB) August 23, 2008
-- PLE Government Systems announced today that it had been asked to return to participate in Forward Operating Base / Mission Based Experiments to demonstrate its ability to integrate via wireless communications rapidly deployable perimeter surveillance kit into a combat support van and send alerts to operator to in real-time to initiate appropriate action while practically eliminating false alarms and to further develop, test and evaluate, integrate, prove and improve our technologies to provide warfighter communications and real time video alerts in simulated battlefield conditions with the assistance of Special Operations Forces (SOF) operators as evaluators.
Using XML based communications protocol and wireless network setup in the experiment, AVT234© perimeter surveillance sent back timely alerts to the combat van during the experiment in day and night scenarios. It was accurate enough to be used to gauge the performance of other video monitoring systems participating in the experiment. It is available as a rapidly deployable kit for use in theater to be setup quickly along fast moving bases and outposts. Deployable kits are available via GSA contract GS-35F-0431U and ITAR commodity jurisdiction is done to make export of technology possible to non-military users.
PLE will work with J9/CTTSO in the future to further demonstrate our ability to integrate our rapid deploy perimeter surveillance with a different combat decision facility and looks forward to continuing the chance to test and evaluate our technologies and concepts of operations in a simulated battlefield setting with Special Operations, National Guard, and Air Force personnel as evaluators to test real-world operation, prior to going down-range.
