P&L E-Communications, LLC provides AVT234 to Force Protection Joint Experiment

(Business Wire) ---January 20, 2007---P&L E-Communications, LLC, (PLE) today announced that it is supporting the Force Protection Joint Experiment (JPFE) to enhance force, base and installation protection capabilities through the use of integrated, automated and fused sensors and unmanned systems. PLE has provided an AVT234 unattended persistent video surveillance unit to be included in the experiment at Eglin, A.F.B.

The objective of the FPJE IPT is to assess affordable, scalable, modular, and logistically supportable joint protection systems to meet unit base and installation force protection needs and requirements against worldwide land, air and sea threats.

PLE will meet the intent of the FPJE to enhance force, base and installation protection capabilities through the use of integrated, automated and fused sensors and unmanned systems. Protection missions fulfilled by AVT234 include:

• Land, Air and Waterside defense
• Integrated Common Operational Picture (COP) for Command and Control (C2)
