Department of Justice
The men and women of the Department of Justice (DoJ) and corrections and law enforcement practitioners
enforce the law and defend the interests of the United States according to the law; to ensure public safety against threats foreign and domestic;
to prevent and control crime; to seek just punishment for those guilty of unlawful behavior; and to ensure fair and impartial administration of justice
for all Americans to protect and secure our nation. PLE is committed to developing relationships with DoJ personnel to support them in their mission and
feel our flagship AVT234 video analytics products can be adapted for use at facility perimeters inside and outside the wire to provide objective, independent, evidence-based sensors and surveillance
tools.
Sensor and Surveillance technologies allow law enforcement and corrections officers to watch, listen to,
or otherwise monitor and safeguard locations. PLE's AVT234 is an unmanned, self-operating, unsupervised remote monitoring technology that provides
alerts, warnings and event recording at locations where perimeters are unmanned. The technology monitors area's in its camera field of view to ensure
that criminal justice personnel are alerted in case of an illegal or dangerous incident.
PLE's existing relationships with the Law Enforcement Analysis Facility in Rome, NY sponsored by National Law
Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center (NLECTC) under the direction of DoJ personnel at the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) allows
us to demonstrate our non-commercial and commercial technology to obtain actual operator feedback to ensure our video analytic systems are useful
and work for law enforcement and corrections officers.
