Development
Development Programs is responsible for the
integrated "front-end" development of new and innovative
video anlysis technologies for military defense and commercial security systems.
Working under license with acclaimed computer vision and imaging programs at University of Rochester
and Rochester Institute of Technology, we develop new video surveillance technologies and
prototype systems to provide actionable intelligence to detect, assess, and warn the warfighter of dangerous intruders, a critical capability as the
military pursues transformation to capability-driven, effects based
operations.
Tomorrow's warfighting information infrastructure must expand
beyond traditional boundaries established among the strategic,
operational and tactical levels of warfare. The nation needs
unattended rugged video surveillance and warning systems
that can provide persistent, real-time, surveillance and targeting
capabilities in all threat environments.
The AVT234 framework, developed in accordance with the SEIWG ICD-0100 satisfies the
needs of the rapidly evolving, new warfare
environment. PLE enjoys devising new, simpler approaches to give our customers something
that works better for them while they do their job.
